"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8

CrossRoads has a significant missions focus and applies the Biblical direction of Acts 1:8 to our outreach. Under Pastoral leadership, a Missions Committee collectively and prayerfully evaluates local, domestic and foreign opportunities for service where congregational offerings and resources can make a difference in people’s lives, locally and around the world.

Missionaries to the Blackfeet Reservation

The Missionaries above are supported financially due to the faithful tithe of the Church’s monthly offerings. These funds allow each family the partial financial freedom to spread the Good News within their respective mission fields.

Local Service Ministries

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem..."

CrossRoads supports many local programs on a ongoing basis with voluteers and funding including:

"... and in all Judea and Samaria..."

There are tremendous opportunities for service withinMontana.  To that end, CrossRoads has a significant focus on the Blackfeet Reservation in Browning, developing long term relationships with many Native Americans through the coordination of outreach efforts and encouragement of Pastor Gordon Monroe of South Piegan Mission.

Since 2005, this vision has been built upon by a dedicated group of CrossRoads members, starting with the remodeling of a double wide trailer, home of the South Piegan Mission and the creation of an activity center from a donated utility building.  These modest beginnings have helped build trust, fellowship and provide a place of worship for several reservation families.

Foreign Missions

"...and to the ends of the earth."

While CrossRoads 2010 commitments have a primary Domestic/Homeland focus of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and the South Piegan Mission, CrossRoads teams have traveled to the ends of the earth. Foreign Missions have included teams serving in Costa Rica, Albania, Mexico, Peru and British Columbia.

Foreign youth trip opportunities are generally available every other year. Read what some of the CrossRoads youth have to say about their foreign missions experiences on the youth page.

Additionally, CrossRoad's provides ongoing support for full time missionaries and short term support for church family member's service efforts. Current ongoing support assists the local Youth with a Mission program and the South Piegan Mission in Browning. Recent short term mission's support was provided for elder care and orphanage work in Peru, and a student deployed on Youth with a Mission in Borneo.

Under the direction of Youth Pastor Randy Passons, the High School Youth Group takes a yearly mission's trip.

In the past the youth have gone to Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate, Rosarito, Mazatlan, Albania, Costa Rica, and Seattle. This past year the Youth went to Vancouver B.C. and served alongside of a variety of inner city ministries with "Youth Works".

Monthly Youth Outreach

We also encourage youth and families to join us as we reach out locally once a month. Please call the church office if you would like to join the youth on any of these outreaches.
