Hey guys!
Before we get to the Devotion, I wanted to remind you of the last page in your Guidebook (not the back). “Ideas for Getting Home.” Some of you have read through that, but I would encourage all of you to do it! DON’T LET THIS FADE! Stay strong in your commitment and keep pressing forward!
Blessings, paul

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
The heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing.
Pascal
Good morning sir!
Welcome to day 13! A little encouragement goes a long way! Keep it up! Join me in prayer: “Lord, thank You for this day! Let Your Words be my sustenance! Let the person of the Holy Spirit infuse me with love, light, truth and freedom! Amen!”
Today I read this quote: “The enemy does not want you to live from your heart. He wants you to live from your rational mind, because the rational mind is limited.”
This is the crux of spiritual warfare! In our hearts, we know things are not right in this world. But if we stay in our rational minds, we will think people are our problem. And we will do our best to fight and correct them and ignore the real enemy! This rational mind keeps us eating from “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil’ (Genesis 2:17). And Jesus came to destroy our constant dependance and connection to this tree. Instead, He is always offering us the ‘tree of Life!’
What tree are you eating from? The devil is working overtime to keep you in your rational mind. Why? In order to hinder you and restrict your heart-connection to God that He so wants to have with you.
Remember, the first great commandment, “Love the Lord Your God with all your HEART. This comes first, before the soul and mind. Because with the mind, we are limited. Always wondering, “Did God really say?” Genesis 3:1
Reason killed Jesus! Paul said he was determined to have no wisdom except “Christ and Him crucified!” If the authorities would have listened with their heart, concerning Jesus, they would not have killed the “King of Glory!” 1 Corinthians 2:8
Lord, Jesus, let my ‘inner being’ feast at Your table. May my heart be full of ‘the true bread and the true drink’ found only in You! John 6:53 Amen!
