TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT

The whole trend of the Bible is to get this ‘one thing’ right.  Do you know what that ‘one thing’ is?

Good morning sir!  

We’re already on day four!  Welcome!  Invite the Holy Spirit now.  “Lord, I’m here to have my spirit interwoven with Your Spirit!  I’m thirsty and want You to be my ‘Living Water’ today!  Amen!”

From the ‘Garden of Eden,’ until today, the devil is extremely active to get us to doubt God’s Word and doubt His Goodness!  And this battle happens in our minds first!  This is why I believe that the whole trend of the Bible is to get ‘our thinking right!’  Because without the Holy Spirit, we will end up believing lies and half truths.  

This is why intermingling with the Holy Spirit every day is so important.  “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father!”  Matthew 4:4  And “When He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come!”  John 16:13

“Lord, I do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.  ‘For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the spirit.  For to be fleshly minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace!”  (Romans 8:4-6) Amen!
