Crossroads Christian Fellowship is currently hiring two part-time positions in our Kids Ministry (although for the right candidate, this may be one full-time position.) These positions are complementary and related and would require a close partnership.

Director of Kids Ministry Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY: 20-25 (semi-flexible) hours per week. Lead the Kids Ministry overall with vision and direction. Leading Sunday mornings Kids Church. Oversee the development of volunteer leaders, ensure that volunteers are trained and Child Protection Program approved. Maintain volunteer serving schedules for Sunday Kids Church. Contact new volunteers to determine their best serving opportunity. Recommend physical improvement of the rooms. Lead the weekly countdown meeting before each service to keep volunteers informed. Track and analyze kids' attendance to understand growth patterns and to plan for the needs of the ministry. Prepare annual budgets, recruitment and development of volunteers, and the evaluation of the programming. Work on routine to mostly complex functions.

Coordinator of Family Life Kids Ministry Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY: 20-25 (semi-flexible) hours per week. This part-time position is a support role to the Director of Kids Ministry. This would include overseeing the celebration of volunteers, kids and families, coordinating events that encourage relationships between families bringing ministry to kids. Providing tools/training for parents and volunteers in the spiritual development of kids. Contact new volunteers to determine their best serving opportunity. Maintain and schedule the Child Care team for ministries to support parents to attend different events throughout the church. Prepare annual budgets, recruitment and development of volunteers, and the evaluation of the programming. Work on routine to mostly complex functions.
